Job Overview
Reporting to the General Manager of Mexico, you will be responsible for managing our hiring process and making our company the best place to work in Mexico.

Key Responsibilities
- Find, recruit and set up on-boarding for the best talent in Mexico
- Maintain and continually improve recruiting processes
- Ensure legal compliance with all Mexico employment laws
- Manage the on-boarding and exit process of talent
- Create, implement and improve office policies (e.g. vacation policies, security policies).
- Oversee development of pay plans, benefit plans and professional development programs
- Improve design of office interior and lead procurement process for office supplies
- Embody our culture by planning team lunches and events, and by motivating the team
IDEAL CANDIDATES MUST HAVE:
- 2-3 years of experience working at a fast-paced fintech/start-up on general HR and office management tasks
- True motivator, great listener, with amazing can-do attitudes, and should have experience building the culture at companies they've worked for
- Experience with some of the following:
a) planning and executing team events
b) developing HR policies and benefits plans
c) having difficult conversions
d) HR best practices and standards in Mexico
e) negotiating leases / with building managers and outfitting new offices
f) negotiating with various vendors e.g. insurance or benefits companies
- Ideally candidates will have worked as 2nd in command under more Sr HR managers, but have the drive / initiative to lead culture building at our company by themselves
- This person needs to have excellent English
- Strong communications and an entrepreneurial attitude are absolutely essential
