Responsible for implementing the correct balancing of the production lines, ensuring that the Production area can meet the volumes on time, quantity and quality required, as well as planning the number of direct personnel, according to the client's requirement, to ensure the efficiency of the operation, deliveries to the client, generating the calculated standard hours.
Responsible for implementing Ergonomics, Safety, Industrial Engineering Standards and Headcount Analysis.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
-Participate in incident and nonconformity investigations as well as in the determination of the necessary corrective actions.
- Active participation in plant programs such as SafeTrack observations, suggestion box, Employee Idea System, and 6S audits.
- Lead cross-functional expert teams to drive breakthrough or Best-in-Class performance in People, Quality, Material Flow, and Cost.
- Attend trainings to learn about Lean & Six Sigma tools and continuous improvement methodologies as required by function and/or position.
- Commit to learning about continuous improvement strategies and applying them to everyday work.
- Develop a capacity study by line, area, plant based on customer requirements, (Plant Layout, areas, lines depending on customer requirements.)
- CT Analysis of operations people. Or analysis of movements (Motions).
- Responsible for monitoring the main productive offenders to coordinate activities that reduce the negative impact on the indicators (PRODUCTIVITY).
- Ability to calculate efficiencies in machines and production lines.
- Definition and calculation of shifts required, the duration of the shift, Std Hours/ good hours, the total hours of production and the number of workers needed (direct), based on the daily production required.
- Determine the performance index, considering the composition of the direct and indirect presence of labor, and the related percent incidence losses in good hours.
- Evaluate the actual performance (efficiency rate, losses, indirect ...)
- Material consumption audits (BOM vs Process)
- Savings projects (Lead with other departments)
- Implementation of Continuous Improvement Projects using the A3 tool.
- Understand and apply JCMS’ criteria in your daily routine.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Professional degree, preferably in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering
- Minimum +1 year of experience in Balancing lines, Kaizen, continuous improvement and ergonomic analysis.
-Basic knowledge of Mfg 4.0
- Basic statistical knowledge and ability to apply statistics to product and process
improvement projects.
- Preferred experience in SPC and General Manufacturing Processes.
- RCA and problem- solving
- Computer skills and mastery of the use and application of programs such as: Excel, Word, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Visio, Power BI
- English language; Oral, Verbal and Written Intermediate preferably (80%).
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Extensive knowledge in Balancing and Timing (Yamazumi)
- AutoCAD / Visio / Solid Works Knowledge.
- Experience in the execution of improvement projects.
- Experience in designing ergonomic and Lean workstations.
