About the role
Lead our team and operation to peak stability, efficiency, and performance. You will spearhead the integration of IT standards, best practices, and processes, driving significant improvements to achieve infrastructure stability.
Key Challenges
- Ensure our operation delivers world-class services, and achieves a leveraged, consistent, proactive, and reliable state through order, best practices, standards, policies, processes, and planned actions;
- Achieve 99.99% uptime and eliminate preventable server issues;
- Support transition to Cloud;
- Boost automation for alerts and resolutions;
- Upscale team's technical skills and performance.
Responsibilities
- Own server infrastructure stability (on-prem & cloud)
- Integrate best practices for technology and operations
- Prevent & resolve server incidents effectively
- Lead or collaborate in projects and audits
- Define the server´s infrastructure policies and processes
- Balance business independence and optimization of shared resources
- Ensure disaster recovery and high availability
- Budget and spending control
- Own and manage service providers, contracts, data centers, and tech sites
- Control technical debt and budget spending
- Capacity Management planning and execution
- Manage security, hardening, inventory, patching, and performance optimization
- Upscale team's technical and soft skills capacities, and performance
- Track, document and maintain CMDB for servers

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related)
- 3+ years in a similar position
- English: intermediate or advanced (preferred)
- Microsoft, VMWare, Cloud and/or related technology certifications (desired)
- Advanced knowledge of the technology stack referred to above
- Experience managing 1,000+ VMs and VMWare, Dell Technologie
