IS Infrastructure Specialist

Defines, manages, and monitors processes to meet requirements for IS services by planning, measuring, and improving all aspects of IS services. A key resource, a definitive source of knowledge processes, who contributes their expertise to enhance organizational effectiveness and support the organization's vision and strategic direction.

Your responsibilities

• Describes and defines IT processes/services including relationships, dependencies, and business value, and regularly maintains all service-related information within the service management tool.
• Prepares and maintains process documentation for the system services and advises on the correct and effective use of the services.
• Takes action to ensure targets are met within established safety and quality procedures, corrects malfunctions, and calls on other experienced colleagues and external resources to make sure services are delivered proactively.
• Provides consultation, advice, and supports the installation of IS services, or the change of existing IS services.
• Delivers (when involved) the appropriate IS solution/service according to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs), in time, within budget, and as per quality standards.
• Applies and executes the relevant measurement and reporting management practice to enable planning, controlling, reviewing, and auditing services to meet agreed Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets.
• Identifies, proposes, advises, and implements IS processes and/or supports IS service implementation.
• Follows agreed standards and applies appropriate techniques to elicit and document detailed requirements.
• Reviews and analyzes the efficiency of existing reporting procedures and systems with a main focus on optimization, standardization, and automation.
• Engages (when involved) proactively with suppliers to resolve incidents, problems, or unsatisfactory performance and implements external partners-related service improvement initiatives and programs.
• Ensures that the processes in their own area of responsibility are applied consistently throughout the IS organization.
• Ensures that processes in their own area of responsibility use consistent methods to assess, approve and deploy IS services.
• Ensures that the process and its interfaces support the execution of the IS mission.
• Organizes (as the case might be) formal audits by collating, collecting, and examining records, analyzing the evidence, and drafting formal compliance reports.
• Enables effective prioritization of IS services requirements and documents traceability to source.
• Ensures that the information is presented effectively and communicated to the relevant stakeholders regularly.

Your background

• Bachelor´s Degree in Systems, Electronics Engineering or related.
• 1 - 2 years of experience in IT Services.
• Knowledge of MS Office.
• Dealing with end users.
• Intermediate level of English.
