We take pride in being known in the industry as nimble, entrepreneurial and responsive Role Purpose The primary purpose of this role is to lead in the development and execution of the Technology Solutions that support the Mexico business strategy and office operations.
CoreResponsibilities Lead technology for our Mexico office as we scale Responsible for the day-to-day operation of our computer systems and network ensuring 24/7 operation of systems and when problems arise, effecting quick and permanent solutions Regularly analyze and review logs to determine if problems are imminent and develop solutions before they occur Control the adequate technical support for both hardware and software Support all new technical requirements, their design, development, and start-up process Support all applications, infrastructure, data centers, etc. from day 1 entry into the Mexico market Set the technology mission and vision for Mexico to foster customer centric oriented culture and mindset driven by continual service improvement techniques Be a trusted advisor, that builds and maintains relationships with other technical leaders and business executives to develop a keen understanding of business needs; ensures efficient delivery of IT services to meet those needs Build a multi-year roadmap and key performance indicators that are well understood and anticipate emerging needs Foster a culture of trusted partnership, service, and continuous improvement Responsible for the strategic technology footprint in Mexico including cost and timeframe estimates Skills & Qualifications 10 years of relevant technical experience, including 7 years in a leadership role Background in cloud-first environments and building cloud-native platforms in AWS Success in using both standard methodologies, such as IT service management practices based on ITIL, as well as agile philosophies like DevOps Ability to adapt to a fast-moving technology landscape and keep pace with the latest thinking and new technologies Demonstrable ability to formulate a high-level strategy, then convert it into a tactical plan and execute on that plan "Hands-on" operating style and approach but a view towards the future Proven experience as a business-focused, credible leader in a large fast-growing technology company Natural ability to communicate clearly with all customers, employees, and executives Successful leadership influencing business executives well beyond the border of Technology services Relevant and proven experience leading Technology services in a large-scale company, achieving objectives of Systems Development, Installation and maintenance of infrastructure, Management and Development of IT projects and User Support Advanced spoken and written English Competencies The role holder will be required to embrace the Everest Core Values: Collaboration,ThoughtfulAssumptionofRisk, Execution, Humility and Leadership.
