Introduction to Role:Are you ready to lead a team with the backing and investment to win? As an Information Technology Team Leader at AstraZeneca, you will ensure that work flows smoothly through the team and is delivered on time and to required quality standards. You will support the IT vision and strategy and business transformation for their area, driving team and individual performance to deliver the agreed business strategy and business objectives.

You will also determine the process and requirements management methodology practices within their function, ensuring that the methodology, quality and compliance standards are adhered to.

Accountabilities:As an IT Team Leader, you will reinforce the IT vision and translate the broader business plan into a clear and focused Team Plan. You will lead, develop and coach the team to ensure alignment of individual priorities, ongoing capability development and strong team performance. You will also build networks and links with other teams/functions/3rd parties to ensure cross AZ business understanding of issues which may impact team activities.

Your role will also involve shaping and defining the business case, producing detailed business justification for investment including ROI and benefits realization. You will be highly proficient in analyzing and assessing solution proposals and able to articulate supporting reasoning. Your project management skills will be put to use in handling multiple projects & stakeholders, managing time, resources and people to successfully deliver projects.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Experience of communicating with and influencing peers and managers
  • Knowledge of own business area
  • Proven experience of successfully deploying a variety of business analysis tools/techniques to enable business change
  • Proven experience of working with complex integrated systems, using creative and strategic thinking to deliver exceptional results
  • Strong engagement, communication and stakeholder management skills, including excellent presentation and influencing skills 
  • Experience of working with and managing third party suppliers/vendors
  • Proven knowledge & programming experience on PowerApps, Sharepoint, Python, Visual Studio Code, Jupiter, AWS, Azure.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Degree in relevant discipline or formal certification in business analysis practice
  • Lean SIGMA training
  • Practical usage of Agile Methodology
  • Project related certifications: PMI, Agile, Scrum, etc.
  • Knowledge on web programming (HTML & CCS), Adobe Experience, WordPress, etc.
