Lam Risk/Compliance Innovation Manager

Job Summary: About the area
 The Risk & Compliance function is a Second line of defence (LOD) function, responsible for reviewing and challenging the activities of the Group’s businesses (also referred to as “the First LOD”).   The function and  specifically the local businesses are in pivotal moment of change, driven by digital innovation and a wide array of technological advancements, these  forces combined with evolving and complex risk management expectations and  a dynamic regulatory environment  are reshaping the future and demanding the need to constantly evaluate and explore opportunities for improvement within our operations.

Main Responsabilities:
Impact on the Business
· Identify the ‘key data’ required to transform and simplify the function 
· Implement the Global and regional innovation program across LAM   markets, incorporating both tactical and strategic initiatives.
· Implement procedures and operating models to ensure an effective and sustained innovation approach to strengthen risk management in the region.
• Ensure the identification and implementation of best practice to enable the highest innovation standards.
• Define and adopt best practice through collaborating with our key business partners.
• Co-ordinate the creation and execution of idea gathering plans, recommending innovation and optimization approaches, development actions to implement impactful opportunities and assist in their implementation.
Customer / Stakeholders

• Build strong relationships, adopting a joined up approach, to deliver services at pace and with minimum conflict
• Attend and support senior committee meetings on behalf of the R&C Head of Innovation or of the Chief of Staff as required.
• Support R&C ExCo Members to achieve the required targets and build-out resourcing strategies as necessary.

• Stay at the center to initiate and navigate the implementation of corporate innovation and definition of strategies to scale up the function and take it to the next level of excellence.
• Engage internally and externally (Open innovation) to build up the innovation journey
(From ideas gathering, impact analysis, gamifications, experimentation, pilot preparation plans, etc.)
• Keep your finger on the pulse of tech and risk management trends, especially within the vibrant Latin American landscape, to contribute to enhance the culture of innovation and the overall employee experience. 
• Communicate progress and victories, inspiring those around you by supporting the overall innovation strategy and cultural transformation 
• Build and nurture a methodology that allows innovative ideas to evolve, increasing the chances for success with the right balance between risk and experimentation; and setting new benchmarks in our processes.
