The position:

Provide proactive and effective advise and guidance of legal ethical and compliant matters for Mexican Affiliate, accountable for corporate affairs and legal entities, responsible for the draft and review of different kind of agreements, advising, training, monitoring and contributing to provide risk assessment in compliance with Novo Nordisk policies and external applicable regulations

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with NN way, BE & Compliance policies and regulations.
  • Work closely and with a truly inspiring teammate spirit with LEC Mexico´s team, Compliance LATAM, Legal LATAM, Latam LECQ&S VP, BECO and IO in order to align activities.
  • Draft, review and negotiate accurately and in a timely basis all kind of complex agreements.
  • Accountable to ensure assessment and running of TPRs due diligence.
  • In coordination and alignment with human resources, provide advise and ensure a proper handling in a preventive and corrective way, including litigation, regarding all labor and employment matters in the Affiliate.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Law.
  • At least 7 years in the legal, ethics, compliance areas. Pharma industry desired with 4 years of experience.
  • Local and/or cross-cultural experience in legal corporate, compliance, intellectual property, commercial, contractual, regulatory, and counterfeit among others, ideally in relation to pharma or other relevant industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage rapport with stakeholders at various organization levels and solve complex problems involving multiple parties.
  • Advanced level of English is required.
