Activities
- Quote national and international freight (air, sea, land, direct, etc.).
- Coordinate and control domestic and international freight from shipment to arrival at plant.
- Review all domestic and international freight invoices and process payment.
- Provide the Import/Export Coordinator and the Customs Broker with the value of freight or other charges to be declared as incremental at the time of importing the goods.
- Give timely notice to the areas involved in case of unforeseen events in the logistics or clearance of goods, for timely decision making.
- Prepare letter of instructions for the Customs Broker for the clearance of goods.
- Check that the documents related to the clearance of goods (pedimento, declaration of value, spreadsheet, etc.) are correct.
- Capture the invoices and pedimentos of the dispatches in charge in the inventory control system at Customs level managed by the company.
- Perform the RPS screening of all authorized suppliers (shipping companies, forwarders, couriers, etc.).
- Perform import or export procedures for goods in the Ministry of Economy or other governmental institutions.
- Comply with all corporate EHS standards applicable to the area, as well as the Company's Foreign Trade Compliance Policy.
