Marketing Account Manager and Engagement

About the role

Novartis Corporate Center Mexico City is one of six strategically located corporate centers established by Novartis globally. It brings together expert capabilities and talent across functionalities, that drives the business forward. It is home to 1000+ associates who work to deliver on the Novartis purpose of reimagining medicine to improve and extend people’s lives.
The Marketing Account Manager and Engagement is responsible for exploring, developing, implementing and evaluating Digital innovation solutions that address customer needs, also for co-creating with key stakeholders to build partnerships and collaborations.
The Marketing Account Manager and Engagement leads the delivery of multiple projects across a variety of creative and marketing channels, including print and digital media and develops and coordinates project plans across the design, development and production stages of a project to support the successful delivery within set KPI's

Main responsibilities:
• Works in collaboration with brand teams, technical teams and all functions to maximize value and provides consultancy, advice and assistance on strategy for commercialization of products, and influences marketing/Marketing Sales Operation team on decision making.
• Gathers requirements to develop detailed Project plans and Project estimations to task level.
• Proactively assists the Business to identify upcoming conflicts and resource gaps and serves as interface with the global and local Brand teams on Project Planning and delivery management.
• Leads and delivers projects for Regional and global teams, ensuring adherence to time-lines and quality objectives and ensures delivery of efficient and high-quality deliverables.
• Manages an efficient and high-quality team that promotes synergy and best practice sharing among resources, drives collaboration with Country Organizations in managing high standards of communication and delivering best in class services and provides guidance on training requirements in relation to Commercial processes.
• Takes initiative to drive standardization of reports across brands and is an active account management through engagement with internal customers providing recommendations to support business needs.
• Daily stakeholder management with Marketing Operations, key brand leads, digital engagement leads, MLR leads, and partner agencies to ensure timeline adherence and project deliverable to deliver excellence for production and progression work in partnership with internal project managers.

Role Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Communications, or Marketing. MBA preferred.
• Pharmaceutical industry experience is required with 3-5 years of experience with either creative or digital agency inclusive of cross functional team leadership.
• Strong and proactive client services/management, project management, operational expertise, and program execution, along with exceptional experience in meeting client requirements.
• Excellent cross-functional skills and ability to work and lead a cross-functional team in a matrix environment.
• Global marketing experience a plus with the ability create connections from global to local impact and experience in US market dynamics and understanding of US business needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with aptitude in fostering long-term relationships and strong presentation ability.
• Must be fluent in written and spoken English (non-negotiable)
