Our Team The Mechanical engineer will be part of our team in Guadalajara, Working directly with the design engineers and technicians to establish design objectives, meet design specifications and performance expectations. What You Will Do * Lead Engineering design verification and parts' inspection. Qualify new design concepts and components material and assist with advanced projects?, generate engineering and prototype samples for antenna components, collaborate globally to support mechanical design verification and align resources and practices, drive innovation and intellectual property?. * Assess antenna fit on vehicle; measure compression ratios and gaps with chassis standoffs, radome, dust seal, and sealing gasket. * Generate necessary CAD models for customized measuring tools such as curvature gages (radome/chassis/vehicle roof) and skewness/alignment gages and create these tools with 3D printing and machining. * Design fixtures and nests to aid in part assessment and inspection. * Lead root-cause analysis and recommend design solutions. * Conduct Functional Tests include sealing and mechanical attachment mechanisms, water sealing tests and others. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic or equivalent related to mechanical fundamentals. * Strong experience in a Mechanical Test environment with Functional Tests (water sealing, mechanical attachment mechanisms, insertion/retention forces, rotation, compression ratios/gaps, environmental/impact/vibration testing) * English fluent speaking and writing. * Design Fixtures. * Design of Experiments & Engineering Testing.
