Position Requirements:
At a minimum, the selected individual must possess the following characteristics:
  • Advanced fluency in English speaking and writing.
  • An undergraduate degree in Business Administration, or related.
  • Minimum 4-5 years on Materials Planning or similar position.
  • 1-2 years in Electronic Industry
  • Software knowledge: Microsoft Office, Outlook
  • Excel proficient
Position Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities for this position include the ability to:
  • Monitoring the demand at component level and do the planning for the required materials based on the customer demand to ensure the material is built and ready for the requested customer date.
  • Responsible of managing the IRISO’s and Purchase Orders to the assigned suppliers and follow up of the shipment on time of the items.
  • Responsible for notifying any issue related to vendors that could impact in the supply chain.
  • Ensure the system is correctly setup to avoid any delay in the proper receipt of items to avoid any issues with delays in payments to suppliers.
  • Analyzing the supply planning data and solving any issues or putting alternative plans in place.
  • Identifying and minimizing risk by predicting the shortfalls of products and adopting new strategies to prevent interruption to the supply chain.
  • Managing inventory in collaboration with Customer Service, Demand Planning and Operations.
  • Participate in cross functional meetings, if applies, to provide and receive status of the current situation of the vendors and deliveries.
  • Work side by side with Sourcing to provide enough information to ensure there are healthy supply from vendors.
  • Create and keep updated the Shortage report to give follow up with the rest of the team on the most critical items that could affect production.
  • Give follow up on the actual delivery ex-factory and port date of the items from China in order they continue the instructions of the HSP.
  • Contribute with other areas to ensure the compliance with the Integrated Management System.
  • Know the risks and dangers of the operation, as well as know and meet the operational controls, additionally should be able to identify any potential risk/dangers in their operational area.
  • Report any insecure act to EHS area and participate in any EHS program within the company.
  • Inform about any accident/incident/near miss that happens in the company and be enrolled in the further investigation of it, if applies.
  • Know and meet all the requirements and integral targets of the EHS internal policies, as well as contribute to achieve them.
  • Inform about any accident/incident that could happen in its own workplace and contribute to the updates of all related EHS documentation.
