Planning and Customer Service Executive

Querétaro Plant


Position Objective


Manage, organize, and plan customer packaging material demand by allocating the purchase orders or their forecast from their placement for production within production plants to the delivery to the customer or the local stock replenishment of the client, guaranteeing compliance with the established delivery dates and quantity fulfillment of materials.

Responsible for Customer Service metrics Fill Rate% and On time%


Key Functions:


  • Entering customer orders or demands in SAP
  • Checking plausibility and alignment with customers regarding the real demand (volume and timing)
  • Checking all customer materials within the daily routine
  • Reconcilement of confirmed orders in regards to production and delivery date and in case of discrepancies coordination and alignment of solution with customer, Logistics Team, and Order Center Team.
  • Run escalation process if no agreement can be found.
  • Date / Order confirmation to customer, tracking, and creation of order on hands and stock lists.
  • Active managing all customer materials updating the new designs and informing of deactiving the old versions.
  • Coordination of order releases with dispatch – priority lists
  • Tracking of sleeves and cylinders stock and if required discussion with the customer for delivery/scrapping.
  • Manage the relationship with the European Order Center Team and other sourcing sites.
  • Issue goods (PBDs) in SAP.
  • Follow up on time materials deliveries with the Logistics team.
  • Responsible for reporting Orders Delay Status report and Open Orders report on a weekly basis in order to follow up on the sleeves budget accomplishment. If necessary lead weekly meetings.
  • Collaboration in the monthly review of the local Forecast with the Sales Team
  • Provide adequate and timely information for good decision-making to managers and staff.

Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.


Requirements

Bachelor’s degree: Business Administration, International Business, Management or similar.

3 to 5 years experience in demand planning or Customer service in a packaging industry

English for business

Professional skills such as decision-making, analysis, communication, and teamwork
