- Responsible for process control at designated area, also for preparing and execute DOE for improvement projects, incorporate new process new machinery or equipment regarding training or generating new instructions or standard operation procedures.
- Reports to Project manager Main activities
- To create new working instructions for each machine and process.
- Carry out root cause analysis to each problem detected on production lines at Albea Queretaro Site.
- To follow care of actions closing after root cause analysis.
- Generate action list to do, improvements, root cause analysis and continuous tracking to these.
- To follow 5S accomplishment in Albea Queretaro, implement and audit routines.
- To generate parameter center lines for each production line.
- To ensure production rates and efficiency on each production line.
- Carry out micro stops analysis for production lines improvement.
- Analyze correlation between process parameters, line efficiency and product quality in order to improve process also prevent or anticipate probably defects on product quality.
- To train operators on work instructions generated to guarantee the correct execution at all production lines.
- To generate procedures or instructive for standardize operation in tooling changes, adjustments, etc.
- Define and draw layout at each process, PT, PP, Scrap, raw material, work tables, tooling trolleys.
- Solve irritants detected by operators or technicians.
- Comply and motivate compliant of EHS politics, Quality system, Good manufacturing practices and continuous improvement programs generated at Albea Queretaro. Accountability including KPIs
- To increase REE and Scrap decrease.
- To develop and implement process improvements, Zero defects, Gages, Poka Yokes, etc.
- Zero accidents, lost time and recordable cases as part of EHS politics.
- Improve the efficiency of production lines by using continuous improvement tools. Profile (Experience & qualifications)
Experience and education
• Mechatronic or industrial engineer preferred
• 2 years maintenance area experience
• Yellow or green belt preferred Knowledge/Technical Skills required
• Under pressure work and results oriented.
• Capacity to manage changes.
• Negotiation and conflicts solving capacity.
• Statistical tools
• Interpersonal communication skills
• Experience on slim manufacturing and six sigma.
• MS Office knowledge
• Fluent in both written and oral English is desired.
• Knowledge of injection molding and mold design/development is a plus
• Proficiency in Continuous improvement is a plus
