Product Specialist

Job Overview
This is a full-time role based in the Mexico City office. You’ll work across teams to conduct user research, gather feedback, make product recommendations, and communicate product changes to your colleagues. You’ll be reporting to the Operations Manager in Mexico, with regular check-ins with the Product Manager in San Francisco. You need to be very hands on, this includes being out there in the field to better understand who and where our product is used. Responsibilities

• Administer and compile surveys for user feedback
• Research and publish detailed reports on competitor offerings
• Conduct focus groups, user interviews, and usability testing to understand our users and their needs, research and provide early feedback on new features, and diagnose product issues and bugs
• Coordinate the gathering of feedback from Loan Review, Customer Service, Servicing, Finance and other local teams for quarterly product planning
• Craft new ideas on how to improve the user experience through product improvements (internal and external) that help us achieve our market goals
• QA and monitor new releases through robust test plans to verify functionality of new features
• Assist the Product Team with finalizing designs and creation of mock-ups
• Document and socialize market-related release announcements, including training of Loan Review, Customer Service, and Servicing teams on new functionalities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Experience conducting user research is a major plus.
• Ability to create and execute basic SQL queries
• Capacity to interview users and gain insights from those interactions
• Analytical with excellent attention to detail
• Evidence of good organizational skills with history of handling multiple tasks within a rapid pace environment. Organized and methodical
• Self-directed with an ability to set priorities.
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Outstanding communication skills: written, verbal, and listening
• Great at giving and receiving feedback, is constantly looking for improvements in coming releases
• Creative thinking and curious about enhancing the user experience
