Job Description


Located in our Avery Dennison Smartrac Queretaro site and reporting to the Maintenance & Facilities Manager. The successful candidate will have professional development as part of a new team, in a growing industry. The objective of the Facilities & Maintenance team is through modern maintenance systems to maintain “business as usual” for plant operations & continuously improve the availability/reliability of the equipment to manufacture quality products in a safe and cost-effective way. This team will also be responsible for the CAPEX planning and execution, including an ambitious capacity increase Master Plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and Lead the factory CMMS.
  • Establish and manage the yearly, monthly, weekly preventive maintenance plans based on work orders, to ensure essential maintenance is completed within a reasonable time, minimizing equipment downtime and impact on production.
  • Responsible for making sure maintenance technicians have the tools and parts they need to complete work orders.
  • Lead the TPM implementation
  • Optimize Predictive Maintenance technologies (Condition Monitoring and inspections) to minimize unplanned downtime.
  • Manage and control the operation of the maintenance function and inspections so that it operates efficiently and within the agreed budget limits.
  • Maintenance KPI´s owner 
  • Lead projects.
  • Be a change agent for the needs of plant processes.
  • Maintains knowledge and good understanding about plant/equipment and its conditions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronic Engineering or related discipline.
  • +10 years experience in maintenance, engineering, projects or technical field, preferably in the Electronic or Flexographic Industry.
  • +5 years experience as Maintenance Planner.
  • Able to have fluent conversations in English, travel will be necessary for training.
  • Knowledge in CMMS.
  • Strong knowledge in project management.
  • Strategic planning and a high sense of organization, with a focus on achieving excellent results.
  • Continuous Improvement and TPM experience.
  • Excellent qualities for talent development and teamwork.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk analysis abilities.
  • Knowledge in 4.0 industry (desired)
  • Experience working in digital transformation projects (desired)
