We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to work supporting one of our clients as Java, Python Tech Lead
Roles & Responsibilities:
· You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop high-quality software solutions conduct code reviews and mentor junior team members.
· Additionally, you will contribute to the technical roadmap identify and resolve technical issues and stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
· Work with product managers machine learning engineers and data science modelers to bring new models and enhancements to existing models to production.
· Work with product managers and machine learning engineers to understand and document the technical requirements for the systems that will run models.
· Estimate the effort required to implement new models or modify existing models Architect/design the software environments needed to both build and run the models on Google Cloud Platform (willing to learn)
· Design and implement the software used to acquire and transform the data for use in the models.
· Works with other engineering teams to integrate the models into Client products.
· Employ agile methodologies and practices leading or participating on teams of machine learning engineers.
· Monitor and report to management on the status of project efforts anticipate/identify issues that inhibit the attainment of project goals and implement corrective actions.
· Foster and maintain good relationships with customers and other teams within Client to meet expected delivery dates and service levels.
Required Skills:
· Experience designing system architectures and applications in cloud-based environments (AWS, GCP)
· Seeking a highly experienced Technical Lead with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Java and Python and strong knowledge of data modeling.
· Nice to have skills include SQL, Data Management, Infrastructure.
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Data Science or Machine Learning
