We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to work supporting one of our clients as Python Tech Lead Roles & Responsibilities:
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop high-quality software solutions conduct code reviews and mentor junior team members.
- Additionally, you will contribute to the technical roadmap identify and resolve technical issues and stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Work with product managers machine learning engineers and data science modelers to bring new models and enhancements to existing models to production.
- Work with product managers and machine learning engineers to understand and document the technical requirements for the systems that will run models.
- Estimate the effort required to implement new models or modify existing models Architect/design the software environments needed to both build and run the models on Google Cloud Platform (willing to learn)
- Design and implement the software used to acquire and transform the data for use in the models .
- Works with other engineering teams to integrate the models into Client products .
- Employ agile methodologies and practices leading or participating on teams of machine learning engineers.
- Monitor and report to management on the status of project efforts anticipate/identify issues that inhibit the attainment of project goals and implement corrective actions .
- Foster and maintain good relationships with customers and other teams within Client to meet expected delivery dates and service levels.
Required Skills:
- Experience designing system architectures and applications in cloud-based environments GCP
- Seeking a highly experienced Technical Lead ideally too in Java but strongest in Python with strong knowledge of data modeling, dataflow and Bigquery
- Nice to have skills include SQL, Data Management, Infrastructure.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Data Science or Machine Learning Why Cognizant?
