Your Main responsablities will be:
Formulations and raw materials meet the performance required by customers and comply with product safety requirements (PSR).
Delivery of standard sample and specifications of new products.
Maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
The formulation, adaptation, analysis, evaluation and implementation of raw materials, semi-finished products and finished product in accordance with internal or customer requirements.
Follow-up on requests, tests on laboratory equipment, interpretation of results and generation of reports to inform about the conclusions obtained.
Adaptation of technology from other Siegwerk sites for local use and/or manufacturing.
The optimization of the portfolio of raw materials and semi-finished products.
Request for stationery and supplies.
Direct and coordinate internal meetings with local collaborators or from other Siegwerk sites globally, as well as with suppliers of raw materials and laboratory equipment.
Optimization of the raw materials portfolio together with Procurement and Purchasing.
Implementation of new products in conjunction with AT and SCM.
Implementation and monitoring of new raw material.
Processes continuous improvement through the implementation of rapid improvements and 8-step projects.
To be successful in the position you will require:
Bachelor's degree in chemist, chemist engineering, or related field.
More than 1 year of experience in painting, graphic arts industries or related, analytic equipment’s and good lab practices.
Fluent English
