We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to work supporting one of our clients as Release Manager
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain software release engineer, ensuring that all releases meet quality and performance standards.
- Oversee the deployment of software releases, coordinating with various teams to ensure smooth rollouts.
- Implement and manage security measures, including regular patching of systems to protect against vulnerabilities.
- Conduct security assessments and implement improvements to enhance system security.
- Collaborate with the development team to integrate security measures into the software development lifecycle.
- Work closely with IT and development teams to manage system updates and upgrades.
- Monitor system performance post-release, addressing any issues promptly.
- Document all processes and maintain records of system patches and upgrades.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the continuous improvement of our release and security processes
Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in release engineering and system security.
- Strong knowledge of software development, system administration, and security principles.
- Experience with software deployment and system patching.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and risk management methodologies.
- Proficient in scripting languages and automation tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently with other onshore teams and offshore team.
