Sanhua is looking for a Sales Account Manager to join our team in the Automotive Business unit in our Saltillo, MX office. The Sales Account Manager is responsible for developing multilevel internal/external contacts to provide customer support, while serving customers in accordance with organizational standards and direction. This position will successfully sell existing products and introduce new products and technology concepts to customers while interfacing with internal and external contacts regarding product specifications, cost/price, timing, etc.

The ideal candidate will provide coaching and leadership to those on the sales team. This role will motivate and guide the team towards reaching all sales goals. This person will also display tremendous leadership experience, strong customer service skills, and proven negotiating skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain customer focus
    • Ensure highest level of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
  • Strategize and project
    • Develop, lead, and execute strategies for new business.
    • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
  • Lead and manage
    • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses
    • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
    • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related degree is preferred
  • Three years of direct sales experience for automotive customers required
  • Technical understanding of the CRM system
  • Prefer experience with powertrain/drivetrain, engine cooling, and/or HVAC applications
  • Working knowledge of customers and market dynamics and requirements at the OEM and automotive Tier 1 and 2 levels
  • Experience with OEM customers and the program development requirements preferred
  • Familiar with APQP process, 8D reporting, FMEA, and program management preferred
