The Sales Enablement Instructional Designer will partner with the Revenue Enablement team to create high quality, engaging, and innovative eLearning lessons and courses. This position will also support and deliver on various Sales Enablement projects, playing a pivotal role in their success. A wide degree of creativity, efficiency, and self-motivation is expected and encouraged.
Responsibilities of the Sales Enablement Instructional Designer:
Assist in the development, authoring, and ongoing maintenance of eLearning content
Collaborate with various stakeholders and subject matter experts to fill gaps in current learning or content that is in development
Create relevant, valuable content that aligns with organizational and departmental goals
Apply advanced adult learning theories as well as accessibility into practical application
Provide exercises and activities that enhance retention and adoption of learning objectives, including assessments and knowledge checks to measure training effectiveness
Skills and attributes of the Sales Enablement Instructional Designer:
Strong writing and communication skills
Proficiency with one or more of the industry standard design software – efficiency in learning new tools is key
Visual design skills (Photoshop, Illustrator) and ability to storyboard
Skilled in Microsoft Office and highly proficient in PowerPoint
Knowledge of adult learning theories, Bloom’s Taxonomy, instructional design models, and development of assessments / testing
Experience making digital learning interactive, engaging, and social
Experience designing overall curriculum for defined audiences
Video editing experience
Strong project management skills to achieve design target timelines
Ability to work in a deadline driven environment with multiple priorities
Collaborative and able to work well with cross-functional teams, while also able to confidently work independently
Comfortable receiving feedback
Preferred experience with Storyline and Elucidat
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred but not required, or global equivalent experience. Preferred to have earned or working toward a Master’s degreein Instructional Design or Educational Technology, or a degree in Communication, Business, Education, Marketing, or Sales-related field, or relevant equivalent certification(s).
