THE WORK
- Utilize advanced data analytics techniques to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and APIs.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and communicate your findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Create and maintain complex SQL queries and scripts to support data extraction and analysis.
- Develop interactive and visually appealing data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau to convey insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business teams to understand their data needs and provide solutions that address specific business challenges.
- Conduct A/B testing and other statistical analyses to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, pricing strategies, and operational processes.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior Data Analysts to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and data analytics trends to ensure our company remains competitive and innovative.
NEEDED EXPERTISE
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, with a focus on retail, grocery, or e-commerce industries.
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and transformation.
- Strong expertise in Tableau for data visualization and dashboard creation.
- Familiarity with Python for data manipulation and analysis.
- Proven ability to work with large datasets and deliver actionable insights.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
