***This role is based in Mexico City, Mexico OR Cancun, Mexico***

Our Finance team serves as a critical business partner responsible for driving performance of the hotels in the region, with focus on, maintaining a strong internal control environment, forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis, risk management, developing and maintaining strong Owner Relations for both portfolio owners and individual ownership groups, implementing our talent strategy and supporting our Development organization.

What will I be doing?

As Senior Finance Manager, All Inclusive, you will be an integral part of the All-Inclusive resorts team and the Operations Finance team. You will report to the Sr Regional Director of Finance for CALA Resorts. In your role you will provide direct support to the Sr Regional Director and the property financial leaders in achieving high levels of performance during the hotel preopening and once operational ensuring a control environment and that business processes align with Hilton policies. You will collaborate with the Finance Operations team to oversee the progress of hotels in meeting our objectives and help ensure that operational AI metrics exceed industry benchmarks.

More specifically, you will:

  • Oversee and evaluate business processes to maximize effectiveness within the property finance department. Develop uniform processes related to the All-Inclusive business and ensure they are aligned with current Hilton strategies.
  • Support the Regional Finance Director and hotel Finance leadership on all actions required for a successful hotel opening or conversion, including coordinating the different systems configuration processes and building the hotel Preopening and Operating Budgets.
  • Support the forecasting and budget processes over the course of the year with focus on KPIs to ensure AI metrics are with the AI industry benchmarks.
  • Consolidate monthly actual and forecast information and preparation of high-level presentations and reports/comments on variances for use by Area VP of Operations and Regional Finance Director.
  • Manage the processes and communications between Finance and Operations/ FP&A/ MEXSSO / Tax / Brand/ HR / Risk Management / Owner Relations and Legal.
  • Build relations with local Owners’ representatives. Ensure all reports required by ownership are delivered by all hotels.
  • Support talent recruitment and development of Finance team at hotel level.

What are we looking for?

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • At least Five (5) years of experience in Finance/Accounting Leadership roles, working in All-Inclusive operations with experience in financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, and operations analysis.
  • Ability to Travel 50% of the time during the month normally Monday-Friday; occasional weekend travel based on business demand. Local and international travel based on business needs.
  • Spanish proficiency and business fluency in English.
  • Advanced-level Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.

It would be useful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Accounting or Business Administration Degree.
