Job Description:
The Finance team at HPE provides world class decision support driving profitable growth and exceptional shareholder value through our commitment to operational excellence, people development, and innovation. We provide accurate and timely financial information meeting the company’s regulatory and fiduciary responsibilities with unwavering integrity. Our objective is to display all business activities in a financially correct and transparent manner.
In the Finance division, our reporting and controlling teams are working on tasks like asset management, financial integration of mergers and acquisitions, as well as USGAAP-reporting. Our objective is to display all business activities in a financially correct and transparent manner.
the role partners with HPE Services business teams including Category management, Bid desk, BU finance etc., to support forward/forecasted costing of Services SKUs and ensure it secures a healthy Gross Margin on the customer quotes. Gathers financial data related to Delivery costing (Global support, Customer support, Supply chain) to perform analysis on cost trending and accordingly make necessary changes to SKU costs.
Drives the determination of Overhead cost rates for Services organizations and work with finance management on any changes to GM thresholds.
How you will mark:
Design a dashboard for royalties that allow the users to slice and manage the data as needed
Work on a better approach for Royalty forecast/flash process
Detailed documentation of the entire process
Automation of manual efforts
Engaging communication with businesss teams (Global procurement/Geo finance etc,.)
Support the team/be the back-up for C4 costing
About you:
Typically 6+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst. (in more than one finance function)
Excellent analytical skills.
Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel (ability to manipulate big data)
Knowledge in Microsoft Access
Excellent communication and influencing skills.
Good project management skills.
