We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Project Manager tasked with focus on project and program management to help accelerate the maturity across several functional areas of information security. This role will work closely with the ISRM leadership team to drive delivery across the organization to enable ISRM to achieve its committed outcomes. A successful candidate for this role leverages an iterative approach to delivering complex enterprise-level programs as well as team-level projects.About the Role As a Senior Project Manager, you will: Partner with subject matter experts across ISRM, technology & engineering teams, and the business units to ensure alignment of project and program strategy and execution on vision and committed objectives; manage roadmaps for products and programs, seeking team input and feedback, as well as leadership buy-in, as needed. Effectively manage work ranging from complex large, scaled projects to task level tracking. Mitigate risk by resolving conflicts and raising impediments to leadership team for resolution, as needed. Deliver projects within budget, agreed timeline and scope, with quality; prepare regular status and risk reporting; execute regular status meetings with the project team; manage day-to-day stakeholder and cross-team relationships. Actively participate throughout project lifecycle, including proactive problem solving and establishing a governance structure where decision-making is weighted toward empowered teams. Identify, assess, and manage risks to the success of the project, demonstrating sound judgment when escalation is required. Effectively manage backlog and facilitate program/team-level planning ceremonies, with an emphasis on breaking down the objectives into executable initiatives, features, stories, and tasks, with applicable requirements, dependencies, and acceptance criteria. Champion open communication across the program and stakeholders to ensure visibility into program status, risks, and impediments. Prepare executive level summaries and effectively facilitate senior leader stakeholder meetings, as projects require. Provide thought leadership on appropriateness of tools (e.g., Azure DevOps) and processes, as relates to project goals and objectives. Effectively manage program/project-specific budget to ensure visibility, accuracy, and fidelity of the plan and forecast. Includes partnering with business operations to reconcile financials. Balance demands and maximize utilization stemming from multiple programs and/or projects Ensure timely and accurate completion of all internal project management reports, including milestone, backlog forecast, resource forecast, status, and other reports, as requested. Has proven excellent written and verbal communications skills. Basic qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Minimum 2 years of experience working with Agile methodologies within a development team (Product Owner, Scrum Master) Minimum 5 years of experience managing all phases of software implementations with teams of five or more Preferred qualifications:Coached/trained teams on agile best practices, frameworks, and methodologies CSM (Certified Scrum Master) or CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) certified Working knowledge of information security, security engineering best practices, and NIST Cybersecurity Framework (NIST CSF) Experience with setting up and maintaining Agile implementation software; Azure DevOps is preferred; other Agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Rally, etc.) are a plus What’s in it For You At Thomson Reuters, our people are our greatest assets.
