DirecciónWe are hiring a Principal level User Interface (UI) Software Engineer (front-end) to join our Infor Nexus Platform core front-end team. Responsibilities include adding new features and capabilities to our front-end-framework core tooling using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The front-end-framework tooling platform provides a rich set of User Experience (UX) building blocks and sophisticated process patterns to enable our application development teams to build industry leading supply chain software.
A Day In The Life Includes:
Engineers on the front-end team will typically spend their day working on 1 to 3 long-term projects. These projects include augmenting Infor Nexus's front-end framework to incorporate features and functionality that align with Nexus’s development roadmap and strategic values.
Collaboration with the Engineering, Product, and Quality Assurance teams to discuss current workstream topics and to coordinate any production issues or bug fixes that may need priority attention.
Mentoring is a frequent activity of the front-end team and occurs on an individual basis or by fielding questions raised by the Infor Nexus development community.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience in software/web development/engineering.
Project development and/or management experience.
Prior experience working directly with JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and at least one JavaScript framework (Angular, React, Vue, Svelte, etc.)
Understanding of Software Engineering and programming fundamentals.
Ability to communicate technical concepts with peers in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with SaaS or other CSS preprocessor extensions.
Working knowledge of Java and relational databases (such as DB2, MSSQL Server, etc.)
Experience with web performance optimization (WPO) tactics and methods used to enhance the responsiveness, speed, and overall functionality of websites.
Team lead, mentoring and coaching experience.
