The role holder reports directly to Director – Global Sourcing, Corporate & Professional Services within Global Sourcing team under Procurement. The role will entail working closely with the North American business in sourcing business services spends (Estimated size of spend managed is USD 200 Million)

The key activities include building strong relationships with cross functional stakeholders to manage end to end procurement activities from contract advisory, managing bid events, supplier negotiations, supporting project execution, supplier relationship management, and driving controls and compliance across all M&A Activity.

How you will contribute

  • The role holder will manage services categories like temporary labour, consulting, travel, car leasing, recruitment, financial services etc.
  • Role holder will support global category owners with strategy development and implementation at regional and local level.
  • Leads integration activities of new ventures into Mondelēz North America business ensuring all procurement synergies are realized in the categories managed
  • Lead RFPs and review sourcing approaches by applying the different sourcing techniques, including analysis of categories, markets and suppliers aligned with the sourcing strategy. Execute end-to-end sourcing and contract management activities and being adept in following 7 step sourcing process
  • Challenge & proactively partner with the various business stakeholders to ensure right external partner selection, and internal process changes to drive value.
  • Manage regional supplier relationships through structured SPE programs and driving supplier performance
  • Own delivery of key business objectives – Productivity & Budget Savings, Cash & Payment Term improvement, improve supplier diversity and ensure 100% compliance
  • Work in collaboration cross-functionally with other support functions such as legal, security, finance, tax, etc for efficient contract execution.

Education / Certifications:

  • Bachelors’ degree with relevant specialization: Business/Commerce/Science Supply Chain. Desirable to have MBA but not mandatory. Recognized qualification or certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management is considered advantageous

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of working experience across Procurement or Finance or Supply Chain. Prior experience in indirects sourcing with direct category management responsibility will be considered advantageous
