The Global Human Resources team are partners to all employees, delivering a meaningful, end-to-end employee experience.

  • Be a trusted advisor to our Latin America managers as they work to shape engaged, high performing teams.
  • Support the overall business strategy by helping to identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes.
  • Partner with leaders and stakeholders to understand talent requirements that support Mattel’s business needs.
  • Generate a strong vision to build at scale cultural plans and consumer experiences.
  • Drive the development and execution of HR initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on complex Employee matters.
  • Develop and implement strategies for talent retention, career development, and succession planning.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Learning and Development team to identify training needs and implement programs that enhance employee skills and competencies.
  • Ensure we have a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace, where everyone can bring their best self.
  • Develop and analyze HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.


  • Demonstrated a growth mindset by staying curious and continuously learning, embracing challenges, and improving themselves.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10 years of progressive HR experience, supporting the enhancement of organizational effectiveness.
  • Experience supporting multiple countries as an HRBP across LATAM.
  • English language fluency to partner with global stakeholders and colleagues, preferred. Portuguese is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Track record on commitment teams’ management and people development.
  • Skilled in developing customer and partner dedication, negotiating for strong relationships with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Proficiency in MS Suite, Workday, and other technology platform tools.
