Ensure compliance with federal, state, municipal, corporate, and plant regulations regarding health, safety, and environmental care. Enhance the maturity of HSE management systems within the operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identification, application, and monitoring of activities related to the HSE Management System.
- Monitoring corrective actions on the digital platform of the security management system.
- Application and monitoring of activities related to compliance with internal standards and regulations.
- Participation in analysis and problem-solving, including knowledge of accident investigation methodologies.
- Identifying, correcting, and/or following up on opportunities for improvement in productive areas in terms of HSE.
- This includes knowledge of risk analysis methodologies and identification of environmental aspects and impacts.
- Managing safety, health, and environmental expenses with a focus on optimizing resources, proposing cost reduction measures, and implementing them.
- Defining and directing improvement initiatives related to ergonomics, industrial hygiene, controls, waste management, safety, property security, and the environment.
- Participating in, supporting, and coordinating the implementation phases of the management system.
- Ensuring compliance with CTPAT and NEEC regulations.
- Ensuring rapid response and conducting root cause analysis for any accidents or incidents that occur.
- Adhering to HSE procedures applicable to the position according to the HSE responsibilities matrix.
- Enforcing Honeywell's sustainable opportunities policy.
- Enforcing internal work regulations.
- Maintaining the work area according to visual factory standards and 5S principles.
- Participating in Continuous Improvement activities.
- Serving as an internal instructor in training functions.
- Providing coaching to those responsible in productive areas regarding HSE, aligned with their roles and responsibilities.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Industrial, Chemistry, Ecology backgrounds.
- 7 years of experience in safety, hygiene, environmental, and property security, including CTPAT compliance.
- 7 years of experience in proficient in negotiation techniques and time management.
- 7 years of experience in personnel management and management systems.
- Advanced proficiency in English."

- Understanding and application of international standards such as NFPA (desirable).
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing methodologies (desirable).
- Ability to manage services such as asset security and medical services.
