About the role As a Senior Software Development Manager for the Homeowner Team, you will lead a multi-skilled (backend/frontend/mobile) team, while working closely with product managers, stakeholders, and other engineering teams, in order to build a comprehensive and compelling homeowner engagement experience.

Will Get To: Manage a team of 4+ software engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
Cultivate leadership skills within your team by fostering an inclusive environment and providing opportunities for growth and development. Design the systems necessary to expand our suite of products while balancing speed-to-market, and scalability for customer-facing features. Continuously reiterate upon the SDLC process on the team and determine what works best so we are able to deliver quality software predictability.
Uphold a high standard of software engineering excellence, working closely with your peers to identify gaps and areas for engineering improvements Foster strong cross-functional relationships across the organization to promote collaboration and ensure alignment on project goals. This role has been categorized as a teleworker position. Teleworkers do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company.
Employees may live in any part of Mexico, but preferably in Mexico City, as we would encourage attendance for occasional in-office events. At least 5 years of management experience, with a proven track record of developing and leading high-performing engineering teams At least 7 years of Software Development experience, on both backend and frontend technologies At least 2 years of experience in mobile application development Advanced knowledge in both NoSQL and SQL databases Advanced knowledge in cloud native architecture and development Passion for mentoring, growing the potential of others, and supporting direct reports.
