SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNING PARAMETER

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Designs, delivers and governs KPIs, their directly linked processes and tools under GSC&S ownership. Leverages these critical metrics to create actionable insights and recommendations to GSC&S and site/region partners, supporting them in making the right decisions and fulfill targets.

Works closely with Network Planning and site/regional reps to identify needs and opportunities for new metrics and tools that support AZ Ops strategy and scorecard targets. Leads citizen development initiatives for these needs & opportunities, embedding new tools and critical metrics in BAU processes.

TYPICAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Citizen development. Training and rollout of new KPIs and supporting tools: Through key connections with users of owned critical metrics & supporting processes in Network Planning & sites – partnering with Supply Excellence, Demand Excellence, Network Planning and Ops site/regions reps in implementation.

  • Design: Lead the business definition of KPIs, directly linked processes and their supporting tools, ensuring that it is aligned with AZ scorecard & strategic objectives. Provide input to URS creation by IT / GSC&S D&E SME.

  • Deliver: Ensuring that owned critical metrics & tools are refreshed & published in a timely and to craft accurate manner, working closely with GSC&S D&A SMEs and Ops IT contacts who lead the technical backend platforms.  

  • Govern: Own the relationship with business users that perform activities in specific processes, ensuring that business rules are followed and that behaviour is aligned with intent of critical metrics.

  • KPI analysis & actionable insights generation: Use owned KPIs & tools for in-depth analysis of performance, and make connections to related critical metrics & Supply Chain issues, to generate actionable insight for Network Planning and/or Ops site/region partners.

  • Support Network Planning & Ops site/regions for owned KPIs & tools: Work with Network Planning, Ops site/region partners and representatives to identify performance improvement opportunities and KPI / tool enhancements.

  • Support GPT Ops Driving Performance & APS implementation workstreams: Ensuring that future states and plans developed therein are aligned with KPI definitions and implementation aligned with owned BAU process connections.

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Essential

  • BSc degree or equivalent in Business, Logistics, Sciences or Engineering. Equivalent experience will be taken into account.

  • Extensive experience of Supply Chain environment, and supply / demand planning

  • Excellent data analysis skills

  • Stakeholder management and influencing skills

  • Experience using Power BI or, similar business intelligence platforms, to make significant data connections & visualizations

  • Proficient in English, written and verbal

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Strong background in advanced planning systems, forecasting systems

Desirable

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Business, Logistics, Sciences or Engineering.

  • Experience working closely with AZ sites / PETs, AZ Marketing Companies, Ops IT and GSC&S D&A

  • Advanced Supply Chain theory knowledge

  • Training skills

  • Solid knowledge of Lean principles

  • Proficiency in OMP

  • Project management experience
