Your role at Baxter:
This position oversees assigned resources to ensure the effective activities involved with the receiving, storage, supply of materials and shipment of finished goods through the application of Baxter's standards, policies, guidelines, and procedures. Establish controls and priorities that allows a good operation. Ensure that personnel and resources follow the established policies for their own safety as well as for the security in the warehouses.
What you’ll be doing:
- Meet the functions aligned to the culture of following up practices and norms of the business and ethics in the organization.
- Meet the accomplishment of Baxter´s politics and code of conduct.
- Implement the code of conduct, policy and procedures, including but not limited to the Global policy of Interactions and third party.
- Responsible of receiving, shipping and warehouse teams coordination, working with and delegating activities and/or tasks to supervisors to comply department´s objective and goals.
- Manage non-exempt material control personnel.
- Evaluates and analyzes impacts and capabilities of the resources and spaces assigned for Materials and FG in Monterrey Plant and 3PL warehouses by creating warehousing and replenishment strategies in Monterrey Plant.
- Ensuring the implementation, documentation, and conformance of inventory control systems.
- Lead and execute strategies in the day-to-day operation to the direct reports as necessary to ensure the conformance of their commitments.
- Provides timely and accurate information to senior management and the core team, regarding risks and status of managed processes, warehouse capacity, Shipping and/or receiving risks or opportunities.
- Assure the conformance of Shipping, Receiving and Warehousing processes to meet policies and regulations.
- Procure the performance of all transactions to manage material flow into and out of facility.
- Continuous quality improvement using Baxter´s Lean and available tools.
- Lead a team of Cycle Count to perform the cycle counts as suggested by the standards, and responsible for the management and adjustments with root cause analysis where required.
- Develops the strategy of load balancing for his headcount to ensure process optimization in all areas.
- Responsible to implement the system and processes to meet inventory accuracy targets.
- Responsible to organize and lead Annual Physical Inventory if required.
- Participates and leads if needed in projects, improvement plans and manage resources to comply.
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineer or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in leading the receiving, shipping, warehousing activities, and wide knowledge of Inventory control techniques
- Minimum three years of experience in supervision of non-exempt personnel
- Demonstrated ability to lead, train and develop personnel
- ERP systems experience Inventory control systems, MRP.
- MS office, special enhancement in excel
