Testing & Laboratory Specialist

In this position, you will execute tests on different devices using your knowledge of standard references and testing methodologies, investigating and resolving critical product issues, optimizing processes, and verifying product compliance. In this role, you will analyze and document test results for use in the development of new products, as well as defining the details, test sequences, testing methods and procedures, and equipment and instrumentation to be used.

Your responsibilities

  • Defines test plans to investigate and solve critical product issues.
  • Optimize industrialization processes and verify the compliance of a product according to specific standard.
  • Defines the details, test sequences, testing methods and procedures, equipment and instrumentation to be used.
  • Performs test on all types of products in different testing departments.
  • Ensures the planning and implementation of test plans assigning the right priority.
  • Train new members of test operations and processes.
  • Analyzes and evaluates test results and prepares test reports in partnership with designers, engineers and quality team.
  • Proposes improvements in existing test techniques based on experience and knowledge of new trends and equipment.
  • Assists and supports external certification inspectors during testing activities.
  • Ensures that prototypes are correctly assembled, tests are correctly performed and activities are thoroughly reported.

    • Your background

  • Bachelor´s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electro- mechanical, Mechatronics or Robotics.
  • 2 years of experience working in Electrical testing.
  • General knowledge in certification IEC, IEEE.
  • Electrical Diagrams reading.
  • Availability to travel (30% National and International).
  • Ability to prioritize, make decisions in difficult or ambiguous situation, strong oral and written communication.
  • Advanced level of English.
