This position ensures that innovation and optimization projects are stablished and that has a clear connection to the LEGO Competency Framework, Company’s Strategy and Department Initiatives with special focus on Business Intelligence reporting, data collection integrity and continuous improvement tools. This position is system super user and point of contact in case of any system changes or upgrades.

Highly involved in Company’s Strategy Deployment activities, problem solving and continuous improvement data integrity are focus areas, lead implementation of new standard processes around maintenance areas, build and develop digital platforms in order to facilitate department daily work, develop a robust maintenance audits system that includes workshops, tool carts, documentation, preventive, etc.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Transform data bases to BI dashboards, analysis report, creations of actions log and tracking in case of misalignments and deviations.
  • Integrate the use of digital tools to fulfill needs of automatized process flows
  • Encourages innovation and participation in projects to improve maintenance processes.
  • Engage with the Maintenance piers and support the overall strategic ambition.
  • Secures TIP is followed up in a weekly basis and tracking of action log.
  • Owner of LCI Assessment tool.
  • Communicate with all stakeholders, supervisors, engineers, to meet customer needs.
  • Troubleshooting through the root cause mindset.
  • Leads the implementation GMEP methodology in the Maintenance department
  • Trains maintenance personnel in basic tools for problem solving and maintenance standards.
  • Standardizes processes and performance indicators.
  • Lead improvements in productive machines.
  • Implement 5s in maintenance areas (workshops and lubrication areas)
  • Create and Develop Audits to the Maintenance Areas
  • Implement Best Maintenance Practices and Share with Global Networks

Do you have what it takes?

  • College degree with major in Engineering, Business Administration or alike.
  • Min 4 years of experience in manufacturing operations areas such as maintenance, production, engineering, or similar.
  • Min 4 years working in global company
  • Stong communication skills.
  • Experience in local and global collaboration and Continuous Improvement tools.
  • High level of analytical skills.
  • Industrial experience
  • Knowledge of a Lean/Six Sigma (Problem solving)
  • Maintenance Documentation
  • Maintenance Manuals, Plans
  • Workshop Standards
  • ISO audits
  • Generation of Ideas/Kaizens
  • Implementation of WCM/TPM in the Maintenance area
  • Administration of Workshops, Warehouses and Lubricant Areas
  • 5's in (Workshops/Warehouses/Lubricants/Tools)
  • Global Travel required
  • Advance english level

Note: This position is based at our LEGO Operaciones de Mexico manufacturing factory located in Cienega de Flores, NL This is not a remote position
