Responsibilities

The Opportunity:

This role will be accountable for supporting 5-9 MBS Transportation Analysts in the execution of Transporation Planning processes across multiple teams and business units.  This position will report to the MBS LD&T Manager (L10).  This role will engage in regular consultation with the Business unit teams and other MBS transportation leaders.  Systems knowledge and technical enhancement will be expected along with coordination with BU technical support.  Delivery of optimization and efficiency gains within the Transportation Planning team and Best Practice sharing between teams is expected. Exceptional time management, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills are critical for this role.

Your Impact:

As Transportation Coordinator your responsibilities would consist of

The PFNA Transportation Coodinator will lead a team of 5-9 Customer Service Representatives who support the various ordering channels across various business units.  This role is responsible for delivering gold standard service by ensuring day to day transportation planning activities and maintaining site performance metrics using standard processes and best practices. 

  • Ensure the PFNA Transportation function continually optimizes staffing, schedules and activities that enable timely and seamless order processing across the entire Supply Chain. 
  • Quickly engage with business units to identify, interpret, and set mitigation plans in place to ensure deliveries to all customers. 
  • Respond to marketplace demands through an in-depth understanding of transportation planning practices and complex system technology.
  • Initiate innovation and development of new analytics and business processes to improve service levels and drive efficiency.
  • Identify areas for improvement and close efficiency gaps regarding transporation efficiency and asset optimization.
  • Ensure support and engagement with PFNA/PFC business while working remotely from stakeholders
Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or similar field preferred

Experience

  • Fluent in English
  • 3-4 years of transportation planning experience - Must have an understanding of networking functionality, changes, and their cost impact for trade off analysis
  • SAP Desirable
  • Ability to positively influence teams outside of direct responsibility and across multiple business units
  • Outstanding trouble-shooting, analytical and problem solving skills for solving for optimal transportation solutions that balance cost and service needs
  • Strong Computer and System Skills:
  • Excel, Transportation Manager, Dispatch Planning, SAP, Business Objects, Outlook, etc.
  • Ability to provide superior customer service with strong follow up skills
