We are now looking for a skilled and innovative VP of Marketing & Digital for the Consumer Goods Americas Business Unit.
About the Role
The Vice President of Marketing & Digital is responsible for managing the marketing function, as well as the Digital Business development within the BU. The role is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing marketing strategies, policies, and activities for the business unit within the framework of defined business units’ strategic plans aligned with GU Global Brand, Innovation, and Sustainability to support business success.
Also, this role is responsible for developing, implementing, and securing the strategy and overall engagement in E-Business including Digital Marketing development and E-Commerce in alignment with the Business Unit’s overall vision.
What You Will Do
Responsibility for BU (including Regional) A&P Budget definition, deployment and ROI.
Developing, aligning and implementing the Marketing strategy for products, services, and solutions offered for all products for a BU ( e.g. branded, private label brands, and non-branded products)
Defines assortment, specification, and sourcing for products, services and solutions offered to enable superior and profitable assortment, offering the best systems, services, and solutions for each market segment.
Directs and enables differentiated Go-to-market strategy.
Directs and enables strategic end-customer ownership.
Leads BU Marketing organization and ensures full deployment and alignment with local execution.
Develops organizational set-up and capabilities for Marketing throughout BU in line with current and future needs.
Ensures brand focus and value creation for the brand throughout BU.
Extends brand value and awareness for the brand.
Drives development and deployment of Marketing systems and processes.
Defines, measures and ensures governance for Marketing KPIs
Be responsible for developing, implementing and securing the Business Unit’s E-Business strategy.
Build relevant E-Commerce platforms, securing a unified global approach towards customers and stakeholders (such as distributors).
Drive innovation, promote innovative culture and mindset, and coordinate digital activities in the BU.
Influence all business areas of the BU in the areas of Digital Marketing and E-Commerce across all geographies.
Who You Are
At least 10+ years of proven experience managing Marketing and Digital functions – Director at least 4 years.
Relevant experience managing different brands , markets, and geographies in complex economic environments .
Strong and deep knowledge of Digital Business, including Marketing and E-Commerce as well as in analytics areas.
Deep Consumer and Customer understanding and orientation.
Proven Leadership skills in managing direct teams and influencing.
Strong Drive for results and proven proactiveness in challenging the status quo.
Ability to inspire others and steer change and transformation
Matrix organization experience (Global/multicultural environment).
Political savvy and influence across organizations.
