Be a part of something truly special Join the pre-opening team of Four Seasons Cabo San Lucas at Cabo Del Sol as Assistant Director of Rooms .

This expansive property will include 96 beautifully appointed guestrooms and 61 villas & estate residences centrally located in the "tourist corridor" between Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo on the top of Baja California Sur with amazing views of the sea where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean. Amenities will include three restaurants, three resort pools, an open-air fitness center, Spa & Spa Garden and a Clubhouse event facility. Target Hire Date: September 4, 2023

Rooms forms part of the Hotel Leadership team who collectively make key strategic and operational decisions for the Hotel or Resort. The ADOR directs and controls the activities of the Front Desk, Reservations, Communications, Concierge, Housekeeping, Guest Relations, Guest Services. Assures that standards are met, guests and employees are satisfied, and problems are promptly resolved.

Also works closely with Sales and the Director of Revenue/Reservations to enhance the Hotel occupancy levels and rates. Preferred Qualifications and Skills College degree preferably specializing in hotel/Admin management experience is required. Five to seven years previous experience in

Rooms department head position. Excellent communication skills and a strong, innovative mindset Strong community relations Ability to motivate and lead a team of professionals A guest experience champion with sophisticated guest relations skills. Elevated Leadership skills and experience in a multicultural environment Resort and remote location experience is desirable.

Oral and written proficiency in English language Major Responsibilities The ability to coordinate and manage the day-to-day operations of the Rooms Division.

The ability to attend and participate in all Planning Committee meetings and events. The ability to monitor and review the daily revenue report, the daily labor report and the monthly profit and loss statement, analyze results and take action when necessary. The ability to conduct regular tours of the hotel and make recommendations for changes as well as note deficiencies and ensure corrective action is taken.

The ability to meet on a regular basis with all managers, supervisor, and non-management employees. The ability to monitor all standards in the hotel to ensure they are in place and enforced. The ability to control all capital expenditures and ensures the proper guidelines are adhered to and projects are completed on a timely basis.

The ability to conduct and or participate in the performance review of all key department managers and members and the development of any manager assigned as a mentee. Meet with the Human Resources Director on a regular basis to review staffing requests, morale, disciplinary situations, and hotel employees. Able to aid in the development of existing personnel and assist in the recruitment of new employees.

Conduct weekly Operations meetings to discuss operational challenges and opportunities and to improve or maintain an excellent communication flow. Control expenses through actively participating in all areas of the hotel operation. Review and sign all purchase requests, orders and checks to ensure adherence to Corporate purchasing procedures.

Attend functions, social and/or business, to help develop a rapport and to establish credibility within the local community. Ensure facility is well maintained from both housekeeping and engineering standpoints. Develop profit improvement ideas, policies and procedures and implement them with approval of the

General Manager. Ensure all Four Seasons Hotel Policies and Procedures are followed.

Assist in ensuring that all areas of the hotel are appropriately staffed to handle demand periods and that staff are well trained, polite and conduct themselves in a professional manner. Respond appropriately in the event of any hotel emergency or safety situation and comply with all local codes and ordinances with a focus on guest and employee safety. Implement action plans to correct problems identifies in Operations Standards Surveys (e.g. LQA and Employee Opinion Surveys & Forbes) Educate Department Managers and Assistants on an on-going basis as to cost controls and the financial performance of the hotel.

Actively participate in all appropriate operations committees such as Energy Conservation Program, Safety Committees, and Recycling. Personally meet and interact with guests, review all written guest comments and follow up on any guest service issues or needs. Oversee preventive maintenance programs such as "Perfect

Room" initiative. Directly supervise at a minimum the Department Heads in Front Office, Housekeeping, Laundry, Transportation, Recreation and Retail Operations. Assume the role of Hotel Spokesperson in the absence of the

General Manager/Resort Manager in any emergency or crisis situation. Coordinate preparation of timely and accurate forecasts with Sales and Rooms
