Assoc. Director - Commercial It (Erp / Sap Sd)

The ERP Solution / Platform Function is responsible for supporting the Commercial ERP functions in Novartis. Join our team and be part of ERP Commercial team responsible for functional design, deployment, and governance of ERP solutions in Order Management, Pricing, Order Fulfillment, Returns & Rejections and other O2C related areas and work on complex projects and strategic initiatives (e.g. support Cell and Gene treatments SAP commercial launches, e-invoice solution implementations).
Your key responsibilities:
• Own and Lead the global functional design for the Commercial (SAP SD) domain ensuring that the functional architecture is appropriate across the business domain(s) cross-divisionally
• Provide consulting to business groups in alignment with Business Partnering and Project Delivery (e.g. scoping of programs/projects/High level efforts estimations for staffing, Resolution of key gaps/scope discussions before project)
• Own functional technology solutions inventory. Leverage this inventory to ensure high reusability of the solutions
• Support and/or lead scoping, fit-gap workshops for projects, propose solutions for key gaps and provide design documents and effort estimates for CAR preparation
• Ensure ongoing project support for functional design topics and perform functional toll-gate reviews
• Ensures the reusability of solution inventory and/or scalability of the new solutions

What you’ll bring to the role:
• University degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Computer Sciences or similar
• 9+ years of SAP SD experience with at least one end to end implementation
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP SD module and understanding of integration with other SAP modules (e.g. Finance and Logistics) as well as Integration with non SAP applications
• Functional knowledge of SAP DRC, eDocument framework and SAP Commerce Cloud is an advantage
• Proven track record of industry experience and excellent understanding of complex enterprise IT landscapes and relationships
• Demonstrable ability to coordinate global teams, leveraging multi-source staffing models including internal and external partners to optimize success of overall outcomes
