We are looking for a talented Sr. Controls Engineer to join our specialized ENGINEERING team for our XPJ TEST ENGINEERING in Ciudad Juárez, CHIHUAHUA., MEXICO.
In this role, you will have an impact in the following ways:
Project development and implementation of measuring instruments, sensors and algorithms through the programming of PLCs, HMI and electrical control.
Verification of conditions of automated plant equipment.
Integrations of new systems and technologies focused on industry 4.0.
Root cause analysis, fault diagnosis and day-to-day machine support.
Manage the assigned technical and engineering personnel, training of new professionals, as well as plant maintenance and operation personnel.
Support in plant stoppages and extraordinary activities outside of working hours.
Participation in the development of problem solving activities in installed and developing process control systems.
Participate in the training of new professionals, as well as plant maintenance and operation personnel.
Support in plant shutdowns and extraordinary activities outside normal working hours.
Planning and monitoring of engineering, development, assembly and conditioning activities. Meet the 5's goals of the weekly routes.
To be successful in this position, you will need the following:
Electronic, Electrical, Mechatronics or related Engineering
Expert programming knowledge of: Visual Basic, LabVIEW, PLC, VisionSystems, Laser Markers
Project and implementation of measuring instruments, sensors and algorithms.
Use of diagnostic and analysis tools to resolve problems such as RCA, FTA, etc...Knowledge of safety standards in the industrial environment (IEC, NFPA, IEEE, etc.).
Measurement of flows, pressures, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems.
