In order to deliver our Operations Data vision which supports the successful delivery of the 2030 strategy, the Operations Global Data Office Team are recruiting a Data Quality Assurance Analyst. You will have experience in both data management and data quality, and have a consistent record working in a sophisticated data environment.
You will play a key role in supporting the Data Office by crafting data quality dashboards, to ensure alignment to data standards and data governance policies. You will work closely with the data stewards and business owners developing code written in SQL for monitoring and measuring the quality of data. You will support the remediation and cleansing of data.
What you’ll do
Develop and support the creation of data quality dashboards in Power BI, by extracting data from various Global SAP systems into Snowflake and develop rules for identifying DQ issues using MS SQL Server Management Studio.
Writing and crafting data quality rules using SQL and working extensively with the business to define requirements to support continuous data quality monitoring.
Run and support data processing jobs on a daily and weekly basis.
Provide extensive data analysis and profiling across a wide range of data objects.
Reconcile data against source to ensure results are credible and reliable.
Solid focus on high levels of process automation ensuring data and results are kept up to date.
Running remediation jobs to correct data on our SAP systems.
Facilitate matching or linking multiple data sources together and build complex joins to provide data discovery and continuous DQ monitoring.
Essential requirements
Experience designing and supporting the creation of data quality dashboards in Power BI, by extracting data from various Global SAP systems into Snowflake and develop rules for identifying DQ issues using MS SQL Server Management Studio.
Demonstrated experience & domain expertise within data management disciplines.
Strong SQL DBA experience to support data analysis and data quality rule creation.
Expert in extracting and manipulating data in various formats.
Experience in working in a sophisticated SAP data environment
Strong data profiling and analysis experience, using Power BI or similar tools for monitoring and reporting data quality issues.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence others to achieve objectives.
Strong desire to improve the quality of data and to identify the causes impacting good data quality.
Good Partner leadership skills

Desirable Skills
Experience of working in a global organisation, preferably within the pharmaceuticals industry
Experience of working in global change projects.
Experience in Snowflake or similar for data lakes.
Experience of Business and IT partnering for the implementation of Data Quality KPIs and visualisations
Using one of the following tools or similar. For example Power automate, Qliksense, DataIKU or Python.
Knowledge of at least one standard data quality tool. For example Alteryx, Aperture, Collibra, Trillium, Ataccama or SAS.
Experience of any of the following for data cleansing – Winshuttle, Aperture or Celonis for data process mining.
Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead multiple streams of work simultaneously.
