Position objective:

Understanding of internal and external platforms.

Adaptation to short project development times.

Synergy with international teams.

Autonomy to carry out/develop the projects under your responsibility.

Responsibilities:

Analyze customer needs (internal and external), especially from a business perspective, and translate these needs into a preliminary digital solution.

Evaluate the technical and functional relevance (UX) of Pearson digital solutions around the world, for their possible adaptation, translation, improvement and integration to the portfolio of digital solutions in Latin America.

Research and analyze our competitors' digital offers from a functional point of view for our market and UX.

Develop and design learning material incorporating current technology in the development of specific eLearning study plans.

Support the implementation of learning programs, including the upload and update of teaching materials, oriented to the rules of the learning platforms or systems.

Use knowledge of LMS capabilities to recommend delivery strategies that produce a meaningful and dynamic end-user experience.

Manage digital learning content from providers to ensure it is compatible with the chosen LMS or platform.

Work with instructional designers, graphic designers and programmers to develop eLearning content.

Prepare, in consensus with the corresponding Content Coordination, the digital development budget for each assigned project, for validation by Portfolio Management.

Prepare the SOW (Scope of Work/Scope of the project) and work schedules for the development of the projects under your responsibility, in collaboration with the corresponding Content Coordination.

Keep the SOW and schedule of each project updated at all times.

Carry out, together with the content area, the delivery protocol corresponding to each project, for the Technological Implementation area.

Form, coordinate, manage and supervise external professional teams for the optimal development of the assigned digital projects.Carry out administrative procedures related to the management of assigned projects, such as: registration of suppliers, contracts and payments, among others, in coordination with the Performance & Planning Support area.

Establish constant communication with the Serivices Delivery and Sales areas to obtain feedback on market needs.

Participate in all events, internal and external, in which the assistance of Educational Technology staff is required.

Requirements:

More than 2 years of experience in digital solutions development / educational technology development.

LTI Technology 1.3 - Interoperability between learning tools.

Efficient use of Windows and Mac operating systems, development of text packages, presentations, spreadsheets.

Experience with at least 3 Learning Management Systems as a developer or administrator. Essential D2L - BrightSpace.

Experience with HTML, SCORM, and audio and video editing software.

Project management. Advanced use of SmartSheet as a tracking tool.

Coordination of external work teams.

Management, control and monitoring of budgets.

English language proficiency / Oral and written communication skills: (B2 level)

Bachelor's degree: Computer Science, Computer Systems, Educational Technology, Educational Computing, Computer Engineering, or similar

Specialty/Diploma in Technology applied to education (desirable)
