Job Description: Director of Global Payment TransparencyGlobal Payment Transparency (GPT) is part of the Global Business Services business function. The Global Payment Transparency team is responsible for fulfilling AstraZeneca's external payment disclosure obligations across Europe, LATAM and South America countries with new emerging transparency requirements. We are looking for a Director in the Global Payment Transparency (GPT) team.

GPT works in a complex, matrixed high activity environment, and supports the overall AstraZeneca organization. The Director contributes to generating high-quality, accurate, and consistent data incorporated into postings, filings and reports related to the organization's LATAM and South America Payment Transparency obligations. The Director will be responsible for managing technical aspects of projects, associated risks, and partnering with the Head of Global Payment Transparency in the development and execution of the organization's Global Payment Transparency strategy.

The candidate must be hands-on, detail-oriented, and possess strong interpersonal, communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Partnering with the GPT Team Lead in the development and execution of the organization's Global Payment Transparency strategy Serving as a subject matter expert in the construction, integration, and management of the team's Global Payment Transparency system Being the point of contact to marketing companies, activity owners, business process partners, and internal/external suppliers relative to Global Payment and transparency reporting system utilization Partnering with internal and external stakeholders to implement a consistent and efficient approach to the collection and reporting of Payment Transparency data across US

Open Payments, US State Reporting, EMEA, AsiaPac, and LatAm Serving as a team expert and coordinating transparency efforts, specific to systems and purchase to pay activities, across US and Global touchpoints and working towards implementing appropriate process improvements where appropriate Assisting in the development and implementation of relevant data metrics to monitor compliance in use of coding, application functionality, and overall data quality Assisting in the team's expansion to support all US, European, and Rest of World Payment Transparency reports in required formats Responding to queries from management and key stakeholders as needed Participating in continuous improvement projects and other system enhancements aimed at improving processes and overall data quality Supporting internal and external audits of Payment Transparency data, e.g., IRO and Internal Audit, as necessary Supporting driving and embedding a culture of ethics, integrity, and compliance Participating in policy meetings and training on an as-needed basis Project Management Component: Providing support including but not limited to internal and external communication and training programs, SOP development, job aides, project planning, and intranet sites Managing collation and analysis of business information, consolidation and maintenance of up-to-date procedural documentation Leading and supporting the team's involvement with all external initiatives impacting Global Payment Transparency such as Global HCM, vendor master management, disputes and resolutions, vendor training, and audit remediation Supporting monitoring of progress of initiatives and work streams through scorecards and metrics Liaising appropriately and proactively coordinating with key stakeholders to deliver assigned responsibilities Minimum Specific Requirements: Bachelor's degree (ideally Accounting, Finance) Demonstrated knowledge of SAP, and purchase to pay systems/processes, Procurement Experience in finance, auditing, quality assurance/control, SOX and/or risk management Strong project management skills with the ability to handle competing projects simultaneously Strong ethical, collaborative and influencing skills Excellent computer skills, including data and reporting software programs Preferred Background: Additional certifications (e.g., CPA) Experience in or with the biopharmaceutical industry or a consulting firm working with pharmaceutical clients Experience with providing data quality control/assurance Knowledge of the Research and Development process Understanding of Global Payment Transparency Global/cross-cultural experience J-18808-Ljbffr
