POSITION OBJECTIVE

  • The District Sales Manager ensures that the local market needs are properly fed back to the organization in order to ensure that these are reflected in the global business plan for the zone. The District Sales Manager works closely together with all departments of BRP CSC (Caribbean, South and Central America) in order to ensure both the efficient solution of problems as well as the proper implementation of the agreed business and action plans.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain and develop a profitable and strong business Distributor Network for all distributors of the division within the district.
  • Develop and achieve commercial objectives and targets for UNITS and PA&A (Parts, Accessories and Apparel) for each of the markets the DSM is responsible for.
  • Communicate the business plan objectives and priorities to the distributors and assist in the development of a local business plan which defines key objectives, priorities and critical factors for success for each of the assigned markets. Ensure that the local business plan objectives and market development strategy are in line with the global business plan and strategy for that country or region.
  • Elaborate and ensure proper feedback to the organization through the RAP/DAP (Regional and Distributor Action Plans) and identify key priorities to develop each market. Work closely with and initiate the required actions from all departments to ensure the proper back up in order to ensure the realization of the business plan objectives.
  • Promote and develop the proper use of OMS (order Management system) and other BRP processes and implement the Commercial policies in order to achieve and overpass the targets
  • Support the Network Development area in researching and evaluating new distributors to develop the BRP business in new markets or to improve the business growth in existing markets. Support PMA definition considering commercial and market opportunities.
  • Organize in conjunction with the Network Development team the in boarding processes to the new Dealers.
  • Analyze and identify sales and marketing opportunities in order to optimize the efficiency of policies and propose budget allocations that leverage the marketing strategies and sales performances of BRP MD and the Dealers.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure consistency with brand management guidelines, Product positioning strategy and value chain implementation, Dealer development guidelines, etc, while recognizing the specific characteristics of each individual market.
  • Monitor distributor performance and progress during the Fiscal Year (FY) in order to ensure the realization of the business plan objectives and to propose corrective actions, if required. Monitor its commitment, performance and level of inventory.
  • Participate in the development of the strategic business plan for the country or region in cooperation with the Regional Commercial Manager, Marketing Coordinator and other members of the management team.
  • Development of Retail financing offer and coordination of seasonal promotions with the network.
  • Raise “immediate” red flags in order to avoid credit issues, including inventory management, and support its resolution by promoting action plans to leverage cash generation and mitigating risks.
  •  In conjunction with the Distributor, Credit and Logistics teams coordinate and guarantee that the Products arrive in time in the markets.
  • Responsible for promoting consistent DCR (Dealer Contact Report) in Salesforce according to the mentioned responsibilities for each of his accounts on a frequent basis.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or similar.

Experience:

  • Min. 5 years of relevant experience in the automotive or motorcycle industry or equivalent power sport industry

Language:

  • Fluent in Spanishwritten and verbal.
  • English written and verbal (Min: 80%).
  • Knowledge of French or German is an advantage
