Essential Responsibilities:
- Read and understand electrical drawings and procedures.
- Perform electrical assembly activities, such as stripping, crimping, terminating wire.
- Assembling small and large assemblies with components such as power supplies, IO packs, module boards, terminal blocks, circuit breakers, etc., according to drawings/blueprints.
- Interface with supervisor and/or manager to give progress updates as required.
- Maintain equipment & clean around work area.
- Drive safety requirements/EHS guidelines and compliance with current policies.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Minimum of 1-year previous work experience in the electrical field.
- Be able to read, understand and follow Future Options and Identification (F&ID) & engineering drawings.
- Be able to lift and carry 40 lbs.
- Be able to efficiently operate hand tools.
- Be able to mount component, pull and terminate wire.
- Be able to work on elevated platforms.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Willingness and ability to work various shifts and overtime on short notice, to meet business needs.
Desired Characteristics:
- Follow instructions and be willing to work outside under adverse weather conditions.
- Knowledgeable in the use of various hand tools including, but not limited to impact, drills, sanders and magnetic drills.
- Basic computer skills – Kronos entries.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Independent and energetic self-starter.
- Able to communicate and interface with other departments, such as quality and customer representatives.
The hourly pay range for this position is $18 -$23 hr. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
This role is expected to close from the career site on 1/30/24 or when a suitable candidate is identified.
