  The Summer Intern position is part of the Global Production Engineering Services (GPES) group within the CTO organization. The Summer Intern will be part of an engineering group that is responsible for material cost savings, productivity improvements, and factory support of Global Repair & Overhaul operations.
  The ideal candidate would be an entry-level engineer that applies its expertise and knowledge to technical projects, finding innovative, cost-effective means to improve products, techniques, procedures, and technologies. You will design and develop new ideas and solutions for current product repairs, modifications, and improvements based on in-service issues and market strategy. You are responsible for the design and implementation of mechanical parts, subassemblies, and product improvements.
  Key Responsibilities
• Provide support to Global R&O workshops by driving material savings initiatives, process improvements, and product
• Support activities per customer or internal requests.
• Support the department’s productivity goals through Repair Development and productivity.
Identify Workscoping opportunities to improve business performance relating to reuse, repair, replace, and extending maintenance manual limits.

YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Aeroespacial, Mechanics, Mechatronics or Industrial from an accredited university
