Summary

This role will be working in Agile as part of a DBA (Digital Business Acceleration) initiative. The logistics Pod is responsible for delivering tools that will continue to add value to our supply chain. As the Rail Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in driving innovation in rail operations at our beer production facilities. This includes monitoring industry trends, refining standard operating procedures, and devising strategic approaches that yield a compelling cost/service value proposition. Leveraging your expertise in logistics operations and tools, you'll spearhead the end-to-end management of the distribution network. Moreover, this position offers the chance to lead the design and implementation of the Rail-specific YMS system module, directly impacting the internal flow, loading/unloading processes, and controls of boxcars within our renowned breweries. Responsibilities

1. Be the business subject matter expert within the Logistics DBA pod to drive system design analysis, and implementation of the WMS software to optimize rail operations.

2. Partner closely with the Product Owner, development team and business stakeholders to ensure OKRS are aligned to broader business efforts and facilitate a continuous feedback loop to drive transparency and iteration.

3. Be a change agent and liaison to influence new ways of thinking and working with Mexico counterparts and broader Logistics organization.

4. Collect, interpret, and analyze diverse logistics data, encompassing product availability, transport reliability, and supply chain management, for a $1B logistics budget.

5. Track product flow from origin to delivery via logistics systems and other suitable methods, while monitoring inventory and shipments effectively.

6. Develop, review, and optimize logistics processes, identifying and implementing improvements for enhanced delivery efficiency while minimizing costs.

7. Utilize analytic methods to understand, predict, and control logistics operations, evaluating inventory transactions for quality and integrity.

8. Audit warehouse operations, security, and quality SLAs, ensuring compliance with policies and conducting record audits.

9. Manage logistics KPIs, implementing solutions for border issues with carriers, customs, and brokers, while analyzing the executability of network distribution design for operational insights.

10. Contribute significantly to planning, executing, and tracking Logistics Financial performance, delivering process improvements related to logistics inefficiencies.

11. Work closely with DBA, IDS, and stakeholders for CBI’s logistics digital journey (YMS, WMS, TMS, Ortec, etc.), maintaining logistics databases and troubleshooting data flow issues in TMS/SAP, WMS, YMS, Ortec, or other digital systems.

12. Contribute industry subject matter expertise in Rail network design, procurement, operational planning, and transportation quality across multiple stakeholder relationships.

13. Ensure effective rail shipment planning and coordination between Logistics and Brewery Operations on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, fostering seamless operations.

14. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned, including but not limited to special projects and supplier / vendor presentations.
