The Position

As Finance & Business Support Director, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, process management, and financial governance of Global Business Service (GBS) Mexico. You will set the strategic direction for Finance, Procurement and IT and as part of GBS Mexico Leadership Team, shape and implement the future vision for the unit. You will be a Key Member of GBS Mexico Leadership and representative in various internal and external networks related to areas of responsibility. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the financial planning processes for GBS Mexico ensuring clear strategic focus and link to overall objectives of GBS.
  • Lead the development and implementation of strong financial analysis, insights and KPIs to support the leadership’s decision making.
  • Overall responsible for ensuring financial compliance with regards to accounting, tax and treasury standards.
  • Overall responsible for the implementation of effective procurement processes and systems ensuring focus on compliance, strong analytics, and savings.
  • Overall responsible for ensuring effective IT operations and support in close coordination with global organization.

Qualifications

  • You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field (e.g. finance, business administration) with minimum 3 years of leadership experience from a multinational company.
  • Knowledge and experience with finance, IT, procurement, and digital platforms including integration of digital solutions for efficiency and decision making.
  • Experience with audits, process optimization, and operational excellence
  • We expect a candidate with strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills, also effective communication and presentation skills.
  • The candidate should have strong organizational and leadership skills managing multiple tasks and motivating teams.
  • It is important to have solid business understanding, to be customer-oriented, and results-focused
  • Fluent in both written and spoken Spanish and English
  • It will be considered as an asset if you have previous background in a Global Business Service Centre (GBS) or Shared Services Centre (SSC) setting.
