Purpose of the Position

Lead the company's marketing efforts by generating demand in Latin America, Asia, and Africa, been responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing international marketing initiatives aimed at our end-customers (farmers). Additionally, support Sales Channel Partners in creating joint marketing plans with Sistema.bio that target end-customers based on current market trends and competitor analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the Global Marketing strategy and plans for farmers and funding partners, while collaborating with regional marketing teams to develop and execute their marketing plans, and product launches in regional markets.
  • Lead market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competition in international markets. You will closely work with the Product Management team and R&D team.
  • Support regional teams to create compelling and localized marketing content, including rural marketing and digital marketing.
  • Collaborate with our sales channel partners to develop joint marketing programs and initiatives in order to maximize revenue through our joint relationships.
  • Monitor global, regional, and sales partners campaign performance, measure key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular reports and insights to improve marketing campaigns.
  • Manage Global Marketing Budget to ensure maximum cost-efficiency.

Requirements and competences to work with us

Education

  • Master's Degree in Marketing or any relevant field agriculture, or chemical engineering are highly preferred.
  • Undergraduate Studies related to veterinary science, farm management, agronomy.

Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in demand generation, lead generation or similar marketing experience with a strong preference for emerging markets/frontier country experience (i.e. such as in Latin America, Asia, or Africa).
  • Experience with regional farmer-specific marketing channels in additional to standard digital tools such as social media and SEO/SEM are preferred.
  • Experience marketing agricultural equipment and supplies in the Agricultural or AgTech sector is required.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, content strategy, and campaign execution.
  • Passion to build and execute on marketing strategies that drive significant leads.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Salesforce and other tools (such as Tableau and SQL) to drive insights using data and analytics.
  • Interest in creative marketing approaches and in creating conversion-oriented content.
  • Equally proficient in English and Spanish language.
  • Experience working in a social impact organization is a plus (either for profit or nonprofit).
  • Demonstrated sensitivity with Environmental stewardship.
