Global Procurement Category Manager Chemicals

Location: Mexico City #Hybrid
About the Role: This role will help support the scientific community by getting best in class materials and best services from vendors to deliver experimentation and do their science
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate stakeholders management and seek for synergies across business units.
• Drive key tenders to success
• Drive governance with key vendors with support of main stakeholders
• Identify and deliver value creation opportunities with business support
• Ensure savings are duly reported into Ariba
system

• Effective communication Internal and external.
• University/Advanced degree is required. Master’s Degree/other advanced degree, is preferred.
• Preferably > 5-10 years of experience in Procurement or other related experience preferably in sourcing management , category management, supplier management, or related area, with a focus in Research and Development.
• Strong project management and other leadership experience.
• Stakeholder Management
• Advance English (mandatory).
